If you need to seal a box, or find out if someone has tried to open it, then you’ll find all you need in this section. Various tapes are available from stock with many different types for any given application.
We can also provide custom printed tapes so if you want to show off your branding then this is a very affordable option to consider. If you have a particularly fragile item to ship then the handling and monitor labels should be just what you are looking for.
Polypropylene Tapes
Polypropylene tapes are suitable for general use when sealing packaging and can be used for lightweight to heavyweight needs.
In general, polypropylene tapes do not easily stretch, but conform well to smooth or uneven surfaces. Strong, water and abrasion resistant, polypropylene tapes offer a good alternative to the more expensive vinyl tapes we supply.

Vinyl Tapes
PVC film has excellent plasticity and rigidity making it suitable for all purposes. A thick layer of adhesive gives the tape a high tack quality, and although strong, it can be torn by hand as well as dispenser, making it favourable for use on irregular shapes.
It has a slow release making it quiet, and performs favourably in ambient and warm temperatures.

Self-Adhesive Paper Tape
Pressure sensitive kraft paper tape is a great and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional vinyl and polypropylene tapes. The tape is available in a natural kraft paper finish so it blends in really well with brown corrugated card and is also less susceptible to creasing, so the finish is excellent.
Available in 25mm to 75mm widths and with a cardboard core it’s compatible with both pistol grip and bench mounted dispensers. Can be supplied with either a fully biodegradable hotmelt adhesive or a solvent adhesive for longer lasting adhesion.
We can also supply reinforced self-adhesive tape for heavy duty applications and is a fuss free alternative to water-activated gummed paper tape.

Water Activated Paper Tape
For heavy duty and bulk sealing of cartons water activated tape is the ultimate way to secure your shipment. Made from natural kraft paper with a starch adhesive it’s 100% sustainable, 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable without needing to be segregated from cardboard.
It is the most efficient way to securely seal a carton creating a permanent bond between the tape and the corrugated board. This makes tampering of the box very easy to spot whilst giving a very strong closure method.
Coupled with a pre-programmable dispenser the tape length can be optimised to ensure that none is wasted during packing. This makes the tape very cost effective compared to using traditional hand held tape dispenser.

Tamper Evident Security Tapes
Features
- Warning message on top surface

Filament Tapes
Filament tapes are specially designed for applications requiring a high breaking strength. The cross woven glass fibres reinforce the backing, making this tape extremely strong for heavy packing.
Filament tape can replace metal or polypropylene strapping and typical uses include dangerous goods packing and bundling heavy goods.

Specialist Tapes
Masking Tape
A highly versatile tape which can adhere to most surfaces such as metal and plastic without leaving residue. Can be written on for identifying products and giving temporary protection.
Low Tack Protection Tape
Low tack tape used to protect plastic, metal, glass and fabric surfaces. Available in a variety of widths in blue, black, white or clear.
Double Sided Tape
Available in a finger lift 12mm format with an 18mm backing for easy removal after application. Also in 9mm, 25mm and 50mm for heavy duty applications.

Monitor Labels
Shockwatch®
ShockWatch® impact indicators for packaging deter mishandling and reduce damage related costs by indicating when fragile products have been exposed to a potentially damaging impact during transit or in storage. ShockWatch® labels are tamperproof, mechanically-activated devices that turn bright red when an impact occurs.
Tip-N-Tell
These smart and bright Tip n Tell labels can alert recipients of a parcel that should be kept upright that they should check for possible damage. Just attach to the side of a parcel, activate the monitor, and if the parcel is tipped beyond 90 degrees to the vertical, the clear arrow turns permanently blue!
