Achieving the perfect result sometimes requires samples, for size and shape verification. Using the latest in digital cutting technology, we are able to produce high quality samples, quickly and precisely, in a variety of materials. These include, but are not limited to:

Sometimes it is difficult to find a supplier that is able to produce small and medium sized runs of high quality packaging.
The cost of having to produce cutting forms and printing plates can make it very expensive to manufacture small runs of bespoke packaging materials and one-off production runs.

Mega-Pak Promotional Lorry Box
One of our first projects we undertook was a promotional item to give to our customers. Our design brief was to be something that represented what we are able to achieve, that also promoted our business, and had contact information visible.
These small Mega-Pak Lorries are filled with sweets, and offer a great promotional product that helps our customers remember us.
Die Cut Correx Tray & Foam Fitting
Using multiple materials this project was developed to transport a high quality machined part.
The use of corrugated plastic instead of corrugated board offers high protection, and is easily and quickly produced on our digital cutting table.
The foam is added for further protection, and the integrated plastic locks keep everything together securely.
Die Cut Shipping Case
We were approached by a customer to produce a shipping case to transport an expensive and fragile aircraft component.
We developed a foam fitting which is made from both ether foam (for strength and rigidity) and soft foam (to protect delicate parts) which was glued into the base of a corrugated tray. A strong corrugated outer is then placed over the component before being secured into place using locking hand holes. This allows the customer to remove the outer shipping box from the tray and allow full access to the component inside without having to lift it out of the shipper.
Printed Component Box (prototype)
We were asked by a customer whether it was possible to view a sample of a printed box before they went to full production. In order to do this we had to design the artwork to fit the box exactly before digitally printing it onto mounting paper. This was then laminated to some single wall corrugated board and the cut to shape on our Zund digital cutter.
Using reference points on the artwork meant that we were able to line up the print exactly to the cutter guide giving a true representation of the final printed box
Protective box & foam
For this particular project we were asked produce a shipping box that would protect the high quality metal finish of the product and allow easy inspection before it was removed from the packaging.
By creating a ether foam pad which was cut to the exact shape of the product it allowed the metal part to be cable tied into place within the box. Holes in the base of the box meant that the foam and metal part cannot move during transport and the product can only be removed from the box after inspection.
Both the foam and outer corrugated box samples were produced and designed in house using our Zund digital cutter and Impact CAD software.
